We are delighted to announce the completion of the Blossom Project at Kasengwa School.
This initiative by Water Wells for Africa (WWFA) has significantly improved the school’s hygiene and sanitation conditions, addressing critical needs such as menstrual hygiene management.
Before our intervention, students faced dire sanitation conditions with limited and inadequate facilities. Girls often missed school during their menstrual periods due to the lack of hygienic amenities. The Blossom Project has transformed this reality by constructing modern hygiene rooms and additional toilets, providing privacy, dignity, and a safe learning environment.
This project has already shown a profound impact, with school enrollment increasing by 7.3% within just four months of its completion.
The community is grateful for the support that has transformed their school and their children’s futures.
We invite you to see all the photos and read the heartwarming story of how this came to be and hear from the girls themselves about how their life at school had been changed. We know you’ll celebrate with us when you see how these unique Blossom Changing Rooms improve the lives of so many!
