They got water from a river about 3 km away. When it was hot, they had to dig for water, which led to fights breaking out over water. Women used to wake up at night to get water. “We are appreciative of what is being done here. This borehole is used by 85 families.”

No more diarrhea since the water well.

In their free time, they are gardening maize and other vegetables.

The school kids were going late but not anymore. Families are able to wash and bathe. Now grades are improving.
