Before the well, they had to walk for hours to find water. Sometimes they had to dig holes as deep as their necks or areas with animals. This is the first water well in this village. They experienced lots of diarrhea, cholera, and malaria. They went to the clinic a lot times, which was a 1 mile walk one way. Since the water well, sickness is all decreased, and going to the clinic has decreased.

The village is now planning to set up more gardens and bake bricks for their homes and schools. The families are stronger.
