Water committee: 5 men and 5 women

It was hard for school kids to get water from the shallow well with a rope and bucket. We now have a school close by for Standard 1-4 that has been built by the community. The teachers come from the community as volunteers. Now, our kids can go to school regularly. Some of our kids have been selected to district boarding school because of how well they’re doing in school.

Since the introduction of this borehole, there has been no cholera. We went to the clinic 3 times a month. Now, we only go to get chlorine. Otherwise, we don’t go to the clinic because we aren’t getting sick.

They have been molding bricks in their spare time. Sometimes, they sell rice. They mostly do farming and gardening. Some of them are selling donuts.
