Before water well: 135 girls, 140 boys = 275 students (72 % pass rate)
After water well: 163 girls, 151 boys = 314 students (83.4% pass rate)

Cholera was rampant in the villages near here. The children used to miss school because everyone had to hunt for and then carry water from wherever they found it. We are in the hot season now, so many of those water sources are dried up. Attendance is up, and they are hoping for an increase in test scores, lower dropout rates, and raised rating of the school.

They have plans to mold bricks to make more school blocks. They are also gardening at this school.
