Water committee: 4 men and 6 women

This is the 1^st time women are elected.

“We had to cross the highway and pay MK100 a month. We woke up at 3 AM and return at 9 AM because the line was so long. Some women came with 7 buckets, and others would fight. Now, we are drinking peaceful water. Men would bathe in a small amount of water. We women can now bathe 3 times a day. When we feel hot, we can shower. Every body is clean. We are so joyous. We drew water for our animals.

All our children go to school on time. Mostly our girls were being affected by lack of water. They would quit school entirely. Now all our girls go to school.

Our goats were given salty water. We are drawing water for our animals, our goats and chickens. The goats are healthier and chicken eggs are more and better.

All our kids are going to school regularly and on time. We want our children to be doctors, lawyers, pilots, policemen.”
