Why Give the Gift of Water ?
In 1994 Foursquare Pastor Kurt Dahlin’s heart was moved into action by the suffering he saw in Africa. He needs your help now because there are still over 5 million people in Malawi Africa who do not have a nearby and plentiful source of uncontaminated water. Woman and girls must trek long and sometimes unsafe distances to fetch buckets of water and carry home the 40-pound bucket balancing on their head.
This water is not just needed for drinking, but for growing gardens, making bricks, personal hygiene, cooking, and so much more.
With his Foursquare church connections in Malawi, over the last 30 years Kurt and WWFA have provided clean and easy-to-access water to over 497,000 people by installing 500 water wells and the mission continues.

Your Church Can Make a Huge Impact in Africa
Donate or Raise Funds Towards Current Projects
WWFA projects include constructing water wells in schools or in villages and creating Blossom Project buildings for girls.
The Blossom Project came about when we learned that girls in Malawi don’t come to school during the time of month when they’re menstruating. We solved this problem by constructing special buildings where they have a safe, clean place (and water!) for personal hygiene.
Sponsor an Entire Water Well or Blossom Project
If your church is inspired to do more, you can sponsor an entire project at $9,000.
When you fund an entire project, you receive:
- A dedication plaque that will be installed with your chosen message.
- A package with location, video, and photos.
- The option to visit your completed project in Africa by volunteering with our WWFA and Breakwater Church teams (at your own cost).

Wishing Well Fundraiser
Raise funds for a water well using our Wishing Well fundraiser platform. Our WWFA Wishing Well is a peer-to-peer or crowd fundraising platform that allows individuals to collect donations from their peers (family, friends, co-workers) on behalf of WWFA. This is similar to platforms like GoFundMe or GiveSendGo.
- You can have a single fundraiser page for the whole church.
- An individual can have his/her own individual fundraiser page.
- Groups of people can participate as teams (raising a collective total).
- There are several ways to do this, for example, the church could serve as the team captain with individuals creating their own pages, or small groups could create teams.
