Secretary
Reid Powell serves on the WWFA board of directors and holds the office of Secretary.
Reid first connected with Water Wells for Africa (WWFA) in 2009 after meeting Kurt Dahlin at an event. He traveled to Malawi for the first time in July 2010 with his wife and has since returned seven times. Over the years, Reid has played a key role in documenting the organization’s work through photography and videography, helping share the story of clean water with supporters around the world. He has also contributed significantly to the development of WWFA’s branding.
Outside of his work with WWFA, Reid is a dedicated family man and the proud father of five children.
Reid’s favorite aspect of serving with WWFA is the heart behind the mission — operating efficiently, prioritizing funds going directly to the field, and reaching some of the most remote communities in need. He also values the strong relationships built with local translators and partners. He is grateful that his creative gifts led him to this mission and is thankful to be part of such an incredible organization.
